Description:
Intellitalk is a
simple talking word processor that can be used for:

providing speech feedback
when typing with any keyboard
-
creating documents with
mixed type fonts, styles, sizes, and colors
-
creating a communication
board in conjunction with a programmable keyboard (e.g., Intellikeys)
-
providing augmented
reading of text
Hardware Requirements:

Features:

Picture menus vs. Standard
Menus:
Intellitalk allows
you to easily change between Picture and Standard menus by selecting from
the Apple Menu. Picture menus may be advantageous for beginning users
as they pictorially illustrate what each menu selection does. The
picture menus do not display advanced commands. Highlighting and
selecting text is not required when changing font, size, style, or color.
However, in the standard mode, highlighting and selecting the text is required
to make those kinds of changes.

Using IntelliTalk Speech
By selecting the
appropriate items in the SPEECH MENU, you can vary the way Intellitalk
automatically speaks letters, words, or sentences while they are being
typed. More than one item can be selected to combine choices.
Previously written text can be read in its entirety or by current paragraph,
current sentence, or current word.
