Beth is the speech-language pathology clinic coordinator and classroom and clinical instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her interests and expertise include working with young children with communication disorders. Beth has a special interest in working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and works with children with various communication devices. Currently, Beth works with many children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex communication needs, and enjoys helping families learn how to best support and communicate with their child.

Adrienne is an assistant professor of practice, the the speech-language pathology program coordinator and a clinical and classroom instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her clinical and research interests include developing assessment and intervention techniques to enhance verbal and augmentative communication for individuals with minimal verbal skills, including individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. More specifically, Adrienne is interested in differences in how individuals with autism perceive visual stimuli (e.g. pictures, objects, line drawings) and aims to develop guidelines for selecting optimal visual stimuli for individuals with autism to promote enhanced communication.

Nikki is a speech-language pathologist and clinical educator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her clinical interests include working with a variety of individuals who use a wide range of AAC strategies. Nikki has experience with conducting AAC evaluations and trialing different AAC strategies to determine the best route for each individual client. She has knowledge of a variety of language systems and speech-generating devices. Nikki also leads a lab paired with the AAC class. The lab focuses on different AAC equipment and materials in addition to the clinical application of therapeutic strategies.
